STORAGE

Interport Cargo has 13,500m2 of undercover, fully fire sprinkled and security covered storage space. Significant space holds a Queens’ bond licence, 79 Bond licence and 77 Bond license. Additionally, Interport’s warehouse space is within a 1.1 AQIS depot with full fumigation facilities available.

Extensive area for both racked and block stacked storage areas is also available for particular client requirements. Storage is charged on a (m3) rate, m2 rate or by a long-term serviced warehouse rate that works well for irregular shaped cargos.

SERVICED WAREHOUSING

Interport has pioneered the concept of “serviced warehouses” where customers can have space allocated for their exclusive use that has access to trained forklift drivers, 7am – 4pm receive and dispatch capability and ready access to transport, specialist container unpacking, AQIS and bonded capability. All this with a specific negotiated standard operating procedure for your cargo warehousing requirements.

BONDED WAREHOUSING

Interport has a full range of bonded licences. Interport has FAK or LCL unpacking and relevant 77G bonds and a 79 bond dedicated to the handling and bonded storage requirements of our clients. Be it for alcohol, cars or customs held cargos, Interport has bonded storage facilities to cater for all your needs. Additionally, our washpads have 77G bonded statuses for AQIS jobs that are also bonded.

LAYDOWN YARDS

Adjacent to our warehouse facility are Interport’s extensive laydown yards covering just under 20 acres of hardstand. Our Laydown facilities have full B-Double, Super B-Double and crane access. We have managed a number of significant projects through this laydown yard over the last few years.

WASHPADS

With two separate fully covered washpads, each spanning 13m X 42m, Interport has significant capacity to cater for all washing needs. Our washpads are lit using 400lux of artificial light allowing 24 hour washing and inspections 24 hours a day. This way, Interport can allocate 1 washpad to specialist and urgent jobs and the other to everyday unpacked and breakbulk freight. Our staff are trained to meet and exceed AQIS wash requirements big and small.

LIFTING EQUIPMENT

Our extensive range of onsite lifting and handling equipment is able to handle over-dimensional lifts, container lifts (to 33 tons) and can allow full access for crane operations if required. Interport’s onsite capacity and depth of experience in performing complicated container packing and unpacking operations is second to none.

SECURITY

Interport has a state of the art 24/7 security monitoring, whole of facility video cameras with permanent footage storage and high perimeter security fencing. Due to our customs bonded status, all our staff must clear relevant police and character checks. Interport is focused on ensuring that the most sensitive and valuable cargos reach there destinations.
